Douglas Gearing
Douglas Gearing is the President of Gearing Capital Partners. Mr. Gearing is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction with a special focus on investment acquisition and capital structuring. He has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial real estate investment and structured finance for over 17 years. Prior to Gearing Capital Partners, Mr. Gearing worked for Henry S. Miller Commercial and was responsible for negotiating and closing, investment sales of properties throughout North Texas. Mr. Gearing holds a BBA in Finance and Real Estate Finance from Texas Tech University.

Tavis Holsinger
Tavis Holsinger is the Director for Gearing Capital Partners. He is responsible for credit review and management of all loan and REO assets. Mr. Holsinger and has been involved in various aspects of commercial real estate lending and investment for 30 years. Prior to GCP, Mr. Holsinger was the Portfolio Manager for AWM Real Estate Fund I, LLC, a small balance, private equity fund focused on real estate lending and investment opportunities on properties located predominantly in the Midwest. Prior to joining AWM, Mr. Holsinger was the Regional Director of Originations for the CMO Group of Wells Fargo Bank where he was responsible for the origination and loan structuring of fixed and variable rate CMBS debt. Additionally, Mr. Holsinger was a Senior Underwriter for JP Morgan Mortgage Capital where he funded more than $500 million in commercial real estate loans. Mr. Holsinger holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MBA with a Finance Concentration from the University of Kansas.

Christopher Gautreaux
Christopher Gautreaux is the Controller for Gearing Capital Partners. He is responsible for the accounting, banking, treasury management, financial reporting, and human resource functions. Prior to GCP, Mr. Gautreaux served as Controller of Real Estate Owned for Hudson Advisors, the asset management company for Lone Star Funds. Mr. Gautreaux oversaw the accounting functions for REO portfolios that included underlying asset types of hotel, industrial, land, multi-family, office, and retail. Additional duties included construction of lender reporting packages and REIT financial statements; treasury services and reporting deliverables on upcoming REO assets; reconciliation of loan servicer and escrow monitoring reports; development of cash management tools for select borrowers; management of internal audit requests; and creation of departmental policies and procedures. Prior to Hudson, Mr. Gautreaux served in accounting roles for Lantern Asset Management, a full-service real estate asset management firm, and INCAP Financial Group, an urban land planning and infill development company. Mr. Gautreaux holds a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in both Accounting and Finance, as well as an MBA from Nicholls State University.
